Eligibility

Organizations must meet the following criteria:

• Non-profit corporation with proof of 501 (c) (3) tax status
• Clearly within a wellness focus
• Healthy communities
• Healthy families
• Healthy women and children
• Educational scholarships
• Align with Catholic social justice teachings (listed in brochure)

Exclusions:

• Organizations without a 501 (c) (3) designation
• Individuals
• Programs not within the service area of the Sisters of St. Francis (Service Areas include western Pennsylvania and areas where the Sisters of St. Francis minister)

Capital/building projects and technology:

• Do not provide full funding for large projects
• Prefer highly collaborative opportunities
• Serve vulnerable populations

This is a one-time grant application. Requests for continued support must be made annually.
